NJ — June 1, 2005 — Kistler Tiffany Benefits, in association with Ewing, NJ web development company Set Now Solutions, has created an internet tool available on www.ktbenefits.com to assist employee benefits brokers and health and life insurance agents.
The customizable webpage function is called MY KTBENEFITS. There is no cost to brokers & agents to instantly design a customized webpage. A subscription to the weekly email broker bulletin is also included.
What is the current situation?
Insurance carriers are aggressively using email as communication vehicle for products and procedure updates. Some carrier updates are mass-emailed as links or attached documents to all brokers & agents that do business with that carrier. Many updates are sent to only wholesalers that are then responsible for disseminating that update out to retail brokers & agents. In addition, duplicate updates are often sent as hard-copy by mail. With so many sources, brokers can become inundated with a huge volume of information and miss something critical. Set Now Solutions designed a web resource that centralizes and sorts the carrier updates and notices, and ensures that the My KTBenefits members have access to the most current and relevant information, while also significantly reducing email traffic and file size.
How is MY KTBENEFITS different from most other industry bulletins?
The Kistler Tiffany Benefits weekly broker bulletin is straightforward. No flashing ads or pop-up windows. Brokers and agents get a concise summary of the prior week's updates and notices delivered to their email inbox weekly. Brokers and agents can review, print or save only those updates and notices that are relevant to their business and skip over the rest. If a broker or agent forgets to save a copy of a carrier update, just refer back to the broker resources section on
www.ktbenefits.com. Most updates and notices are available to view, print or save to your computer for up to 60 days on www.ktbenefits.com.
In addition to the weekly bulletin, brokers & agents' can set up a customized web page to make their day-to-day tasks easier. Brokers & Agents can choose the most important updates to be immediately visible when they sign in to MY KTBENEFITS with their email address. Brokers & Agents can also customize their web page to get quick links to many of the insurance carrier resources. This is a very useful feature when Brokers & Agents are out of the office and need to get information for a client quickly. All it takes is the broker or agent's name and email address to get started. MY KTBENEFITS members can update their webpage preferences anytime.
Brokers and agents can get their email clutter under control and service their client's employee benefits and insurance needs more productively.
