5/26/04 Breakfast Meeting Summary
The Mercer Chapter Breakfast Meeting was held at the Princeton Diner on Route 1 in Princeton on May 26. Twelve existing and potential members attended the “How to Successfully Do Business with Family and Friends.” The topic was near and dear to every participant, and several interesting stories were shared. Every business owner faces decisions on how to treat people they know and must address issues such as:
- Discounting
- Differentiating who should receive preferential treatment
- How to collect payment on past due accounts
While there are differences between product and service oriented businesses, the general consensus is that all business owners need to address these issues.
The next Breakfast Meeting will be held on Wednesday August 5, 2004 at the Americana Diner on Route 1. Please RSVP by August 2 and send your suggestions to Amanda Puppo, Breakfast Meeting Coordinator, at amanda@marketreach.biz or call her at 609-448-6364.
