President's Message

I trust you all have had a somewhat restful summer and are ready to get back into the full swing of things. Since we are starting a new NJAWBO year I think it is a good time to revisit two of our Member Benefits. Of all our benefits, these will give you the most bang for your buck!

Our Marketing Roundtable meets every six weeks or so to discuss Hot Marketing Topics. The discussion is facilitated by a Marketing Professional, who gives solid advise for free! The attendees of the meeting act as each others Board of Directors, again giving honest input. This type of interaction and advice is priceless and well worth the cost of your membership. Arlene Schragger has done a great job with this group; however, she has visions of taking it to the next level. In order to do that we need increased attendance on a regular basis. If you have not attended a Marketing Roundtable Meeting, I suggest you try to fit one in, it will be worth your time and effort!

Our Business Book Club meets every six week over an informal lunch to discuss the current book. This club is fun and always thought provoking. Everybody always takes at least one or two thoughts away with them. The books are usually "Hot Business Books" that we should all probably be reading, but somehow never get around to it. I have said before that I Love this idea because it forces me to read what I should be reading. Our Website lists the current book and even provides a link to purchase the book online.

I know how busy we all are, but please try to attend one of these meetings, I know you will find value in them. I look forward to seeing you all on the 19th of September.
