President's Message
Time . . . we could all use more of it, right? There's never enough of that valuable commodity! So when our generous members of the Mercer Chapter volunteer their time to pull together to create the benefits of NJAWBO membership, we are most certainly appreciative. It could not be done without the contribution of each individual Committee and Board member, and I thank you all. There is always room for one more volunteer, so as much or as little as you are able to give is always welcomed. Contact me or any of Mercer's Board members or Committee Chairs at any time and share your ideas.
I am happy to report that our New Member Madness Campaign has kicked off with great success. From our September dinner meeting, Mercer boasts of three new members! Reach out and say "hello" to Marsha Abramson, Nikki Fogler and Clara Lippert. Many prospects have expressed interest in the organization, and the energy being poured into the Campaign by our members is terrific!
Of course, we have our regularly scheduled events for October, and the Community Give-Back Committee has organized two projects to enhance our month. Remember the Clothing Drive in conjunction with the October 6th dinner meeting and that Mercer is participating in the Komen Race for the Cure as NJAWBO Team #121 on October 16th.
See you all at the October 6th dinner meeting where Jennifer Macleod will be our speaker. Ms. Macleod was Mercer's 2005 nominee for the Rose & Scroll Award, and received this high honor from NJAWBO at our Annual Conference in May Atlantic City. This promises to be an enriching presentation and experience, one not to be missed!
Best Regards,
