The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation New Jersey Race
for the Cure will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2004
at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Route 206, Princeton, NJ.
The NJAWBO-Mercer chapter is supporting the endeavor with
a team to participate in the event. The co-ed walk begins
at 11:15AM. Team photos are earlier.
When you get to an event you are participating in; you have
a choice. Most NJAWBO team members will be doing the team
participant 5K walk ( which is approximately 3.2 miles). If
you are not able to walk that distance, you can select team
participant- 1 mile health walk. Both walks start together
as one team and branch off later on.
Parking for the event is on Lenox Drive, off Princeton Pike
in Lawrenceville. Shuttle buses take you to the Bristol-Myers
Squibb facility. Directions are available at the website.
Team members will receive Race for the Cure tee shirts and
numbered ID bibs. Each team member will be contacted with
additional information e.g. where to meet, prior to the event.
Sponsors of the event have tents and booths with information
and samples to give away. You can visit the booths before
or after the race.
If you have any questions, contact Suzie Rosenblum, team
captain, at 609-771-1779 or by e-mail at sprcpa@aol.com
and put Race for the Cure in the subject line.
