October 10, 2002 - Power Networking and Crafting an
Effective "Elevator Speech"
Presenter: Karen Adey, Peak Strategies
Karen will lead us through a working session to
craft a 30-second commercial or "elevator speech"
with impact and then we will put it to use in
a Power Networking Session that follows. If you've
ever felt tongue-tied or ineffective with your
business introduction, it's time to get it right!

November 14 - "Cutting Edge" Marketing Panel
**Combined Mercer / Middlesex Chapters Meeting**
Our panel of successful marketing professionals
will bring you up to speed on the latest techniques
in marketing that don't require alot of money AND
that can work well for small businesses. Sometimes
looking at new marketing strategies and tools is
just what we need to give our businesses a boost.

December 12 - Holiday Extravaganza
Our annual Holiday Party is a "must see" for several
reasons:
- it is usually our most well-attended meeting
(hint: MANY folks to network with),
- diverse vendors with holiday gift-giving selections
for your loved ones, as well as your clients
(this makes your holiday shopping a breeze!),
- treat YOURSELF to a holiday gift from one or more
of the vendors - you deserve it!,
- begin the holiday season with fun and camaraderie
(not to mention a terrific meal),
- surprise guest speaker (yes, it's a secret), AND
- door prizes galore (last year EVERYONE won a prize).

February 13 - Creating Your Own Brain Trust Panel

Utilizing this strategy, these businessmen have grown

March 13 - Self Defense Strategies
Presenters: Angela Deitch, Angela Deitch Consulting and Self-Defense Specialists (TBA)
We will be "tackling" both physical and verbal self-
defense issues in this seminar designed to promote
well-being and safety in ALL situations. Led by experts
in fields of verbal and sexual harassment issues, as well
as in self-defense for women.

May 8 - Holistic Health Panel

means to not only maintaining good health, but also
increasing your energy levels and productivity. Our panel
represents a cross-section of the holistic health community,
with some new ideas you might want to consider in achieving
optimum health and wellness.

June 12 - Stress Management the FUN Way
Presenter: Joel Weintraub, the "Humor Pharmacist" and
lecturer on Exercise Physiology, Health Education, Nutrition
and Stress Management
This promises to be a fun-filled way to end our programming
year and begin a "stress-free" summer! Come and experience
this "comedic health seminar" involving audience
participation and stress reduction techniques.
Think of this year of programming as a mini-course in
how to improve your business, build profits, stay
healthy (with stress under control), and increase your
ability to adapt and thrive. What an educational
