Topic: Power Networking & Crafting an Effective "Elevator Speech"

"And what do you do?" This question causes more panic and stress to those involved in marketing their business than almost any other. What do we say when we are asked to introduce ourselves?

Your ability to give a 10-second "commercial" or "elevator speech", which will create a spark of interest, is a crucial business skill we all need. Karen Adey of Peak Strategies will share helpful strategies for developing such an "elevator speech". After we've had a chance to develop our own introductions, we will get a chance to see how well they work in the Power Networking Session that will follow.

Presenter: Karen Adey of Peak Strategies

As a Certified Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Psychology, Karen employs cutting edge technology in the field of personal relations as it relates to all areas of sales, marketing and interpersonal relationships. Her career spans not only the breadth of the sales arena, but also marketing (often to Fortune 500 companies), management, and personal development and coaching. Karen received the prestigious Small Business Award for Professional of the Year 2000 from the Morris County Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved in the State Board of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners. She will reveal the 3 keys to an effective "elevator speech" in this educational session filled with humor, real life experiences and easy-to-use techniques.
