GET INVOLVED!
We are looking to fill two open positions in the Mercer Chapter: VP of Finance and Are You an Entrepreneur Workshop Coordinator. In addition, anyone interested in getting involved can participate on a committee that is suitable to her background, talents or interest. Anyone interested in getting more involved or learning what the positions entail should contact Liz Scafa at 609-844-7920.

NEW MEMBER MENTORS NEEDED! Mentors help orient new members for two dinner meetings by acting as a resource and introducing new members to others. Mentors benefit by getting to know new members and their businesses in depth. This program is coordinated by Linda Gardner for our new members. Linda assigns a new member to an existing member so the new member meets everyone and learns about all the resources and support NJAWBO offers. Mentoring a new member only requires an existing member's help for 2 meetings.

New member Josephine Giaimo has not only joined our board as our VP Marketing but her company, New Cognitive Systems, Inc., is offering half-day introductory workshops on designing usable Web sites at NJAWBO's state headquarters in Hamilton, and at Cape May's historic Chalfonte Hotel. These usability workshops address the concerns of small- and medium-sized businesses, non-profit organizations, and Web designers and developers.
