"Celebrating Ten Years of Business Success"

The tenth annual Trenton Small Business Week was an overwhelming success. More than 2,500 small business owners and entrepreneurs attended the various events of the week. This is amazing growth for an amazing program. To quote Mayor Douglas H. Palmer about the first Trenton Small Business Week “that first year you could have held the whole thing in a phone booth”.

Highlights of the week included the Kick Off Breakfast with the Mayor’s annual awards. The award recipients were: Small Business of the Year Award - Hunter Research Inc.; Most Successful New Business Award - Trenton Downtowner; Most Improved Appearance Award – Janzer Architectural Products.

The Business Expo featured over 100 local and regional businesses exhibiting their products and services. Some of the most popular workshops were Meet the Lenders, Bringing Big Opportunities to Small Business, Smart Growth, Elements of a Productive Business Day and Newspaper Advertising: It’s Affordable and It Works for Small Businesses.
