September Breakfast Meeting Summary

The third Mercer Chapter Breakfast Meeting was well attended. The topic “Developing and Using an Effective Mailing List” led to the open discussion of various offshoots of the topic including where to maintain the lists, how to develop them, when to update, how to effectively prospect using them, and sharing information.

Participants in various businesses added their perspective on the subject, which stimulated ideas to make better use of time and available information.

The creativity of participants came through in the idea to create a multiple-business package of ads that could be a cost-effective way to advertise to targeted markets. While this idea may or not be pursued, a few members have begun discussions to share their prospect lists, where appropriate. This process would be a natural follow up to the September dinner meeting where the speaker encouraged participants determine how their products and services relate to a seemingly unrelated business.

While the Breakfast Meetings are normally held bi-monthly on the fourth Wednesday, due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the November meeting will not conform to the schedule.
