Mercer Chapter Welcomes New Officers

  • Congratulations to our new VP of Finance, Grazina Crisman from The Productivity Shoppe!

    • Grazina brings over 25 years of major business management experience in the high tech area for and with Fortune 50 through 1000 level corporations (including, but not limited to, major computer hardware and software manufacturers, major NY financial institutions, leading national manufacturing and communications firms, etc.). She specialized in working sales support and operations environments, often managing large groups with multi-tiered management levels. Focus typically tended to be on organization operational areas while successfully achieving revenue goals and coordinating company-customer relationships.

Today, Grazina is Principal of The Productivity Shoppe, a company that provides productivity coaching and professional organizing services to business environments. The aim of The Productivity Shoppe is to guide business executives and professionals in the proper use of both the physical (office space) and automated (tools) aspects of their work surroundings in such a manner that furnishes them the means to truly experience effective and efficient business days! Grazina can be reached at productivityshoppe@earthlink.net.

  • Congratulations to our new VP of Marketing, Josephine Giaimo from New Cognitive Systems, Inc.!

    • I've been asked to introduce myself and my new role as VP of Marketing of Mercer County NJAWBO. My name is Josephine Giaimo, and I'm currently serving our chapter as VP of Marketing, with the support and participation of the members and the Executive Board. My firm is New Cognitive Systems, Inc., which specializes in providing productivity consulting services that increase profits and customer satisfaction. I've worked for small and large businesses to streamline their operations and processes with great results. I assist my clients in doing more with the resources that they already have invested in. My human factors research that began in the mid 1980's continues to be relevant to today's organizations and to the opportunities that exist in today's economic climate. When I'm not working, I do spend some time at home in Highland Park with my four cats, and enjoy playing the piano, singing improvisational jazz, being outdoors, and working as a member of The George Street Co-op, Inc., a community-owned natural foods store in New Brunswick.

As your VP of Marketing, I look forward to serving the members of our chapter in a number ways that support their business activities, both within and outside of the chapter. Many of you already know that the Mercer Chapter of NJAWBO offers members a valuable opportunity to sponsor its monthly membership meetings. This is one of several activities I have been asked to coordinate. Please contact me soon if you'd like to explore the numerous benefits of meeting sponsorship, while there are opportunities still available. As your Marketing VP, I am responsible for writing and distributing press releases about upcoming events, and for coordinating the design and mailing of our monthly meeting postcards. You'll probably see an article each month in our electronic newsletter from me, too. I've also been asked to serve on the chapter's Communication Policy Committee so that the communications that the chapter sends to its members are consistent with our mission and support our membership. As a member of the Executive Board, I work closely with some really terrific women who serve our chapter with enthusiasm and professionalism. It's a pleasure to work with them. Above all, my goal is to serve our membership as best I can. Please let me know what I can do to continue to get these results for our chapter. You can reach me at jgiaimo@compuserve.com.
