President's Message

At the May 11th dinner meeting of the Mercer Chapter, we will celebrate our Chapter’s collective volunteerism and philanthropy. Starting at 5:15 p.m., come to the pre-meeting reception. Share with other members a few words about your favorite charity or community project. Then, at the dinner meeting, Marge Smith, a prominent woman in the non-profit community and founder of the Community Works Program, will be our engaging and motivating speaker. During the evening, our Community Give-Back Committee will be featuring a Silent Auction, which was very successful last year (as well as much fun)! All of the proceeds from the Silent Auction are set aside for one of our members to go to NJAWBO’s Annual Conference. So, don’t miss this exciting night of networking enhanced with our philanthropic theme.

If you have not done so already, don’t miss registering for NJAWBO’s Annual Conference and Expo in Atlantic City on May 24th and 25th. Members leave the Conference with new viable contacts from all over New Jersey and a wealth of information received from the workshops and speakers. Once you sign up, watch for your special invitation to the Mercer chapter gathering!! Those who have been to Conference before unanimously agree with grand expression that this is something not to be missed!! See you there.
