healthful life?
Then plan on attending our Holistic Health Panel
to get your questions answered about how you can
improve your energy, stamina and overall health,
as well as get much-needed relief from pain
and stress. Co-presented by experts in nutrition,
acupuncture, massage therapy, and chiropractic
medicine, this panel will cover the gamut of
holistic health medicine and therapies.
Our panel of experts include:
J. Z. Chen, in private practice at the Acupuncture
and Tuina Center in Plainsboro, New Jersey, is a
5th-generation acupuncturist with 30 years of
clinical experience. She specializes in pain
management, stress management, and relief from
internal disorder pain.
Dr. Allison Scharf, DC, Doctor of Chiropractic, has
been practicing since 1994 and has a private practice
in Princeton, New Jersey. Her focus is on relieving
symptoms and working with patients to maintain health
and stay symptom-free. Conditions she has treated
include neck and back pain, headaches, disc problems,
carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, sports injuries,
as well as symptoms caused by allergies.
Ian Kosnac is a former graduate of the Gentle Healing School of Massage and is now the Assistant Director and General Manager of the Gentle Healing Wellness Spa. He began giving massages while in high school and through a recommendation he decided to get certified in the practice. As he studied massage he found it complimented his fascination with the human body and how it works. Massage also became an important role in his education because he now had something tangible to apply his knowledge to that complimented the two subjects he studied inside and out of the classroom - Biology along with Anatomy and Physiology.
Barbara Stange, owner of Simply Natural Health Foods
and Vitamins in Ewing, New Jersey, believes there is
a wealth of information about herbs and vitamins
available to bring greater balance into our busy lives.
Her interest in holistic living through food and
supplements prompted her to study, grow and use herbs for
both medicinal and culinary purposes. An organic gardener,
she is a member of the Northeast Organic Farmers
Association. Simply Natural provides health foods and
vitamins, herbal supplements and teas, homeopathy and
body care products.
