Awards Committee
Linda Richter has been named the Mercer chapter's Business Woman of the Year for 2006, and is the chapter's nominee for NJAWBO State Business Woman of the Year. The winner of the State award will be announced at the NJAWBO State Conference in Atlantic City in May.
Linda has been a member of the Mercer chapter for the past 10 years, ever since she opened her business, Personal Paperwork Solutions and ... More, Inc. Her company provides support for senior citizens, small businesses and busy professionals on financial matters such as accounts payable, account reconciliation, income tax organization, financial accounts management; medical matters: medical claims management; organization of files; consultation and actual input of Quicken and QuickBooks data.
In NJAWBO, Linda is the organizer of the chapter's Community Give Back Committee. In 1998 she was recording secretary on the chapter board, and in 1999 acted as coordinator for the "Are you an Entrepreneur" program. She has also served as meeting coordinator, vice president of corporate sponsorship, and co-chaired the chapter's volunteer activity at the Princeton Hospital Fete. Currently she manages the US1 Ad program for the Mercer chapter.
Linda is also a member of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce, the East Windsor Economic Development Committee, American Association of Daily Money Managers, Presbyterian Homes and Services Foundation Advisory Council, and St. Anthony's of Padua Finance Committee. She has received a number of awards and recognitions, including a Service Recognition Award from East Windsor Township in both 2000 and 2003, a NJAWBO Mercer Chapter Teal Heart Award in 2000, and the NJAWBO Mercer Chapter President's Team Builder Award in 2005.
