New Meeting Planner. Congratulations, Marsha Stoltman! Marsha is NJAWBO mercer chapter's new meeting planner.

Cheryl Corbet & Marsha Stoltman

Marsha A. Stoltman is President of Stoltman & Associates, a full-service conference and event planning business. She represents local and national clients and is particularly knowledgeable in producing conferences and trade shows, corporate meetings and fund-raising events. She also provides general marketing services, including public relations and targeted marketing plans, to her clients.

Formerly, Marsha was Vice President and General Manager of Editor & Publisher Conferences in New York. Editor & Publisher is the trade publication for the newspaper industry, and Marsha had primary responsibility for planning and executing the company's conferences on interactive publishing and also served as the company's liaison to national and international newspaper associations. In this role she produced events in the U.S., Europe and Latin America.

Before joining Editor & Publisher, Marsha was Vice President of The Kelsey Group, a conference and consulting group located in Princeton.

Marsha started her career at Dow Jones & Company, publisher of The Wall Street Journal, where she held various positions in marketing, sales and product development for the electronic publishing unit.

US1 "Women In Business" Issue. The February 6th issue of US1 featured 2 of our members: Eleanor Kubacki, EFK Group and Judy Tapiero, The Organized Library.

New Member Mentoring Program. The new member mentoring program is up and running. We have had such a wonderful response to our events and our chapter's networking energy that the Membership Committee is looking for current members willing to mentor a new member. Mentoring means that you coordinate with the new member to answer any questions they may have about the organization and introduce them to the people at the NJAWBO events the both of you attend. After two events your mentoring responsibilities end and you each have a new person added to your personal network!
