President's Message

The NJAWBO Annual Conference was another exciting gathering of our women business owners, especially for Mercer members! This year again Mercer is proud to boast of its Business Woman of the Year Award recipient, Linda Richter. Hope to see you at this month’s dinner meeting on June 8th when Linda will receive her Certificate from the Mercer Chapter.

As we look forward to the summer, remember there are many opportunities for networking with your fellow NJAWBO members. Many connections and ideas for growth come out of brainstorming-on-the-beach, a casual evening at Trenton Thunder, or brunch at your favorite restaurant. Some NJAWBO events are offered during the summer months, so watch for announcements. Don’t miss the Northern Region Cruise in August – it will be the best yet!

Please mark your calendars to attend our Mercer Chapter Planning Meeting on Monday, June 12th at 5:30 to 8:30. Dinner will be served. We welcome all ideas from our members and want to tailor our programs to your needs and interests. The Planning Meeting is also a way to get to know your fellow members in a relaxed, casual setting. Please call or e-mail me with any ideas you may have even if you are unable to attend on the 12th.
