4/20/05 Breakfast Meeting Summary
How to Delegate; Fostering More Time, Sanity, and a Growing Business" was the topic of the April Networking Breakfast, held April 20 at the Americana Diner in East Windsor. About ten people attended the meeting, including several new and prospective members.
The topic generated a lot of discussion, including problem solving for specific delegation issues, where to find resources for delegating (family members, virtual assistants, employees, and outsourcing to vendors that specialize in that task), and which items to delegate (financial matters like billing and Quickbooks reconciling, routine tasks like filing.) We discussed putting business processes and systems on paper to teach them to others. It was suggested to delegate the result- the objective, rather than the method.
