Topic: Recognizing Today's Marketing Challenges as a Woman Owned Business

Branding and positioning a company are the essence of success in letting customers know who you are and what you do. Your marketing initiatives and corresponding tactics that drive them require a surgical approach on what to say, who your target audiences is (really), what your strengths and weaknesses are as an enterprise that can hurt or help you and what your competitive environment is seeking to do to potentially consume your business. Often companies tend to use the same tactics that they used when they started. The reality is that you'll need to evaluate, react and execute on levels well beyond early stage strategies that launched your company.

We call the process Futuring. The Futuring process means we must now ride the shock waves of today's economic climate. Business owners must exploit trends, manage events and monitor critical indicators to ride the waves.
