  • NJAWBO has joined Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) as a Coalition Partner. WIPP is a national bi-partisan organization that advocates public policy on behalf of women business owners and women in business. We proudly join other Coalition Partners such as National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), Business Women's Network, Small Business Survival Committee, Enterprising Women, Association of Women's Business Centers, Euro-American Women's Council, Women in Construction, Black Women Enterprises, Hispanics Impacting Public Policy, World Wit, Women In Technology International (WITI) and many others. WIPP currently has over 500,000 members.

    As a Coalition Partner, all NJAWBO members are now members of WIPP at the Subscriber level. If you join WIPP individually as a Subscriber, the cost would be $50, however, as a NJAWBO member, you receive this benefit at no charge.

    WIPP goals include:

    1. Developing and tracking positions on current legislation that effect women in business;
    2. Support of candidates that support WIPP issues;
    3. Facilitate appointments to corporate boards, and political appointments at county, state and federal levels.

    WIPP issues include procurement, access to capital, taxes, energy, healthcare and others. You will be receiving emails from WIPP informing you about current issues. Please go to www.wipp.org for additional information.
