As you may know, Susan Guarneri was awarded the Nancy C. Righter Service Award at the annual NJAWBO conference this year. The Nancy C. Righter Service Award celebrates a NJAWBO member whom, in service and dedication to NJAWBO and community, best exemplifies the spirit and energy of Nancy C. Righter. Nancy served as the Atlantic Chapter President and the State Membership Chair. She was the energy behind the development of the NJAWBO "Courtesy & You" Program. In 1991, Nancy C. Righter died as a result of an auto accident at a very young age while serving on the NJAWBO Board as the Awards Chair. The Nancy C. Righter Service Award recipient is selected from among the Teal Heart Awardees of the previous year (March 31st through Feb. 28/29th). She is the person who best exemplifies outstanding service and dedication, which resembles in spirit and energy that of Nancy C. Righter. At the May NJAWBO-Mercer dinner meeting, Susan’s achievement was recognized by President Lisa Harrah.
