President's Message
Another wonderful time was had at Mercer's 7th Annual Pamper Yourself Holiday Party! A sincere thank you to all who participated as a vendor, by sponsoring the wine, donating door prizes or by attending and spreading holiday cheer!
As those of you that attended the June installation dinner may recall, I mentioned a few goals on which our Mercer Board would be focusing attention in the upcoming year to supplement our regular events. One of those objectives is to enhance retention of our membership and build on the successes of the statewide New Member Madness campaign. Before our first monthly dinner meeting of 2006, at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12th, our Mercer Chapter members who have joined the organization within the last three years will attend a reception with Mercer Board and Retention Task Force members and share thoughts on how membership in NJAWBO can become even more valuable than it already is!
Following the reception, at our January dinner meeting, we will be announcing the winners of the Mercer Chapter's New Member Madness campaign. So, plan to come out and meet our newest members and congratulate our campaign winners.
And speaking of the value of membership in NJAWBO . . . the Mercer Chapter, supported by the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce and several other NJAWBO Chapters, at our February 9th dinner meeting, will be hosting a speaking engagement and book signing by Christine Todd Whitman, former NJ Governor and Administrator of the US Environmental Protection Agency. Mark your calendars and invite friends and colleagues to this exciting dinner event.
Have a wonderful holiday and a happy new year! See you in 2006!
Best Regards,
