• NJAWBO State, in conjunction with the WBC (Women's Business Center) is offering the following classes, locally taught, to the Mercer Chapter members, associates and employees, etc:
  
  Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Business Law, Building a Marketing Plan, The Art of Selling (tentative), Public Speaking with Confidence, Introduction to Quickbooks, Advanced Quickbooks, Building a Business Website & Internet Marketing, Advanced Word, Advanced Excel.
  
  At this time, we are only looking to find out IF and WHICH courses you are interested in attending. So in your reply email, please tell me:
  1. Your contact information (email, phone, address, Company)
  2. Name all the classes you're interested in
  3. Which are the best days of the week you can make the classes
  Once I recieve your replies, I will compile the courses with the most interest, and then send another email to get a more accurate count as to interest. We need at least 10 attendees. Please note: These classes won't begin till the New Year.

• Mercer's New Member Madness Campaign kicked off at the September dinner meeting and will run through the end of December. What a terrific start with three new members and several more prospects! Kudos to our members that are on their way to the ultimate reward of a free registration to NJAWBO's Annual Conference. What incentives are in store for you for participating in this Campaign? Read on!!
  
  
  • Bring a prospective member to any meeting from September through December* - this includes Monthly Dinner Meetings, the Marketing Roundtable, Networking Breakfast, Open House or Book Club.
  • When you bring a new prospect to the meeting, make sure to register that person with the meeting chairman, and you will receive a $10 Staples gift card as a reward.
  • If your prospect signs up as a member at that meeting both you and your prospect will receive a coupon for a free NJAWBO dinner meeting, redeemable throughout the 2005-2006 year (with the exception of the December Holiday Party.)
  • Also, each time you bring a prospect to a Mercer meeting your name will be placed in a box for a special raffle. The prize - your next year's NJAWBO membership free. For each prospect you bring, you'll get another chance at winning a free year's membership.
  • The State NJAWBO organization will also reward any member who signs up at least five new members during October 1 through December 31. The State prize will be free registration for the State Conference in Atlantic City the Spring.
  • In addition, the State NJAWBO organization will reward the person in each Chapter that brings in the most new members a free "Link-Me" program for a one year period.

• Once again our Chapter will contract for 15 women to a business card size ads in three issues of the US1. The first issue will be the Survivor's Guide which comes out around January 1st and then the Women in Business Issue and the Small Business issue. It is a great opportunity since we are on the back page of a free newspaper that has more than 50,000 readers. Click here for more details.

• Reminder for Dinner Meeting Events:
  
  NJAWBO dinner sponsor & speaker literature & official chapter communications are permitted to be displayed at attendee place settings on dinner tables.
  
  Each NJAWBO member that is attending the dinner meeting event may display literature or a business card in the separate display area provided in the dinner meeting room.

• Mercer NJAWBO Dinner Meeting Cancellation Policy Reminder:
  
  If you are unable to attend for any reason, contact the chapter by email at rsvpmercerdinner@yahoo.com or by fax at 609-924-9311. Cancellations received within 24 hours of the event will be billed the full dinner registration fee. Dinner substitutions may be made by email any time prior to the event.
