Awards Committee
By Karen Hansen, NJAWBO-Mercer Awards Committee
The Business Woman of the Year Award honors a woman business owner who is a NJAWBO member and who has distinguished herself in her business, in NJAWBO and in her community. Her chapter may nominate her after she has been a business owner and a NJAWBO member for at least three years. A member may be nominated more than once, but may receive this award only once. Nominations should be submitted to me before February 1, 2004.
Nominees are evaluated on the following criteria:
- History of growth of business
- Expansion or uniqueness of business
- Achievements and contributions
- Career development (seminars, courses, etc.)
- Professional affiliations and offices held
- Awards and honors
Please start thinking about someone you know who deserves to be named Mercer Chapter’s Business Woman of the Year, and submit her name to me as soon as possible.
