A Valentine of Safety

At our February 12th Dinner Meeting, the Mercer Chapter will be collecting your previously-used cell phones to be donated to Womanspace, Inc. Many of you are acquainted with the services for NJ women and their families that Womanspace provides.

Womanspace provides a safe haven for women and children living in violent homes, offers counseling services for individuals affected by abusive relationships, and is operates the sexual assault intervention program for Mercer County. Donated cell phones are reprogrammed to dial 911 by Cingular and Womanspace distributes them to women in need so that they may connect to their local police.

This February, give the Valentine of Safety. Your donation will be acknowledged and is greatly appreciated. Cell phones must be in working order and accompanied by its charger. For more information, call Lynn McDougall (609)208-9500.
