April Dinner Meeting

Date: Thursday, April 14, 2005

Location: Harrison Conference Center at Merrill Lynch, 900 Scudders Mill Road Plainsboro, NJ (use entrance at 3rd traffic light off US Rt.1).

Topic: "I Did It My Way! One woman's story of how she accomplished her goals"

Join Maxine Ballen, President of New Jersey Technology Council as she brings us through her journey of founding and leading the 1,160 member non-profit for the past eight years. Ms. Ballen will share her inspirational path of what led her to her current successes, obstacles along the way, and how we as Women Entrepreneurs can nurture our small companies with big ideas.

Silent Auction: We will be trying a feature never before tried… a "Regifting" Silent Auction. How does it work? If you have received a gift or have a new item that you cannot use, call to arrange a drop off: Arlene Schragger (609)-882-4586 or Kathy Morolda (609)-921-0434. It's a win-win-win! You get rid of something you don't want; someone else gets something terrific in her eyes; the Chapter makes some money for its scholarship fund. These items will be on display at the April dinner meeting, and the highest bidder will take home their new treasure! Bring Cash or Check to pay for your purchase.

Cost: Pre-registered is $33 for members and $38 for non-members. Not pre-registered: $38 for members and non-members. Payment is at the event. Walk-ins are limited due to space. RSVP in advance requested.

Reminder for Dinner Meeting Events:

NJAWBO dinner sponsor & speaker literature & official chapter communications are permitted to be displayed at attendee place settings on dinner tables.

Each NJAWBO member that is attending the dinner meeting event may display literature or a business card in the separate display area provided in the dinner meeting room.

Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend for any reason, contact the chapter by email at rsvpmercerdinner@yahoo.com or by fax at (609)-924-9311. Cancellations received within 24 hours of the event will be billed the full dinner registration fee. Dinner substitutions may be made by email any time prior to the event.
