Nominations for Elections

The Mercer Chapter is currently seeking members to participate on its board and on various committees. This year, we have divided the responsibilities of some of the positions to reduce the time commitment and encourage broader participation.

Listed below are the positions that will be vacant as of July 2003. Please note that while other positions may currently be filled or individuals have demonstrated an interest in accepting a particular role, the positions will officially be voted on or appointed by the board. This means that if you are interested in running for a position that is currently filled, you can!

In addition to the positions listed below, the Member Services Committee is also seeking assistance in its retention efforts through its mentoring program and distribution of "Miss You" cards.

Also, the Marketing Committee is seeking assistants to write press releases, write and review newsletter articles, provide an editorial review of the newsletter, obtain monthly meeting sponsors and support them in providing their advertising materials to spec to the newsletter editor, postcard designer and website coordinator, etc.
