April Dinner Meeting

Location: This special event is being hosted by NJAWBO (Mercer Chapter) and will be held at the Pennington Golf Center at 29 Route 31 South, Pennington, New Jersey (near the Pennington Market). In case of inclement weather the golf clinic will be held under cover or indoors. The Dinner Meeting following the golf clinic will be held at TJ's Trattoria, 25 Route 31 South, Pennington, New Jersey (in the Pennington Market complex).

Topic: Golf 101: Get Ready to Tee-Off

Spring is finally here - let's enjoy the outdoors in this golf clinic for beginners. Perhaps this is a form of exercise that could really grow on you! Let's find out together. Join us for a fun evening learning the fundamentals of golf in a friendly environment that promises to dissolve any fears of the game. Jeanne Hogan (an exercise physiologist) and Corey Krusa (the golf pro at The Golf Academy at Pennington Golf Center) will provide an introduction to the basics of golf, including a discussion around the mysterious topic of "golf etiquette." No golf equipment needed - just wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Network with business colleagues in a laid-back event (with special door prizes and discounts galore), and enhance your knowledge of the "power sport" utilized by many to promote their businesses. Jeanne and Corey are both real pros and they promise to ease us into the game. Jeanne Hogan, an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, will guide us through a demonstration of a proper warm-up and golf-specific stretches. Corey Krusa, trained under Jack Nicklaus/Jim Flick golf schools, has been teaching the game of golf for more than 10 years and has been the Director of Golf at Golden Bear Golf Center (Toms River) and Somerton Springs.

The golf clinic begins at 6:00 PM, with dinner following at TJ's Trattoria.
