Should Search Engines Disclose Paid Links? The Federal Trade Commission announced that search engines may be confusing Web surfers who are looking for the best response to their search - not sites who paid to be there. Read the Commercial Alert from the FTC and the latest CNN article. EBAY offers to buy PAYPAL EBAY has agreed to buy online payment provider PayPal. If the deal is permitted to take place, PayPal intends to continue to operate as an independent brand and eBay plans to discontinue its current payment service with Billpoint.
